At this privileged location, going upstairs involves taking in the view of boats docked at the port and seeing the infinite river stretched out ahead. This scenery became the source of inspiration when designing this office. The client, a top notch media executive of an important multinational company entrusted the team Muradas –Elesgaray with the project, giving them total freedom. Among the multiple spaces, the first to appear is the reception area, which includes a storage facility that blends well into the whole. Sliding oak doors, a concrete column left in view, and the Scandinavian look conferred by the light wood coverings welcome all visitors. The following access leads into the office, a meeting space with two different, well defined areas. One holds a large work table and offers the best views to the river. The other exhibits a type of living room area which is dedicated to technology - the actual components are hidden behind two grand mirrored panels- with state of the art equipment including two giant 100 inch screens at the center of the scene. The river scenery is reflected in the mirrors, magically turning into part of the interior setting, which is fully equipped with world class furniture. To create a black out effect for watching movies, automated aluminum curtains, from the Hunter Douglas architectural product line, were installed.
